NextHome The Real Estate Pros! serves clients throughout Manalapan, Marlboro, Morganville, Freehold, Aberdeen, Holmdel, Coltsneck, Middletown, Old Bridge, Sayreville, Monroe, and the remainder of Monmouth and Middlesex counties. The brokerage offers expertise in first-time home buying, relocations, senior living communities, condos, townhomes, and all other types of residential real estate. NextHome The Real Estate Pros! is owned by Valerie Wechsler, a high-achieving real estate professional with more than 20 years of perspective on Manalapan-area real estate. A New York native, Valerie spent several years in finance, marketing, and management for a Manhattan software company before obtaining her real estate license in 2004. With her hallmark tenacity and grit, Valerie built a thriving career at RE/MAX Central. Alongside her husband, Michael, she formed the Wechsler Home Team. Together, they became known as “The Spouses That Sell Houses.” Valerie has remained in the top tiers of her brokerage achieving Hall of Fame status. She has also received the Distinguished Sales Award and is a Circle of Excellence agent with the New Jersey Realtors Association. Eventually, Valerie became manager at RE/MAX Innovation where she oversaw more than 40 associates and helped them to achieve their own standards of success. With all the accolades, Valerie is most proud of the service she offers her clients and the support she shows her associates. Today, Valerie’s business is almost entirely referral-based. “I am extremely passionate about what I do,” Valerie said. “I believe in professionalism and values-based real estate. I am not the agent who drops a sign in your lawn and walks away. I hold my client’s hand from start to finish.” Eventually, Valerie oversaw more than 40 associates and helped them to achieve their own standards of success. As her business evolved, Valerie wanted to continue to focus on exceptional associate support. That goal led her to NextHome. “I started researching many brokerages and spent a lot of time on calls,” Valerie recalled. “Then, I spoke with James (Dwiggins, NextHome’s CEO) and Charis (Moreno, NextHome’s VP of PRESS RELEASE 2 Sales). I was so impressed by both of them and discovered that this company is very agentcentric and our goals and values were very aligned.” Since deciding to open her NextHome franchise, Valerie has been consistently reassured that the partnership was a great decision. “The amount of support I’ve received almost immediately is overwhelming,” Valerie said. “And it hasn’t just come from corporate, but also other broker/owners across the country. That’s unheard of in this industry. NextHome was 100 percent the right choice for me, and I am really looking forward to the future.” Today, NextHome The Real Estate Pros! is a place where talented professionals receive the broker support they crave. Our client’s happiness means everything to us.” Throughout the community, Valerie is always finding ways to give back. She is the chair of The Gordon's Corner Fire Company Auxiliary, a volunteer fire company that gives back to the community in a multitude of ways. Valerie works alongside the department to give back through community food drives, holiday toy drives for local kids, and Thanksgiving meals for area families. Michael Wechsler is a volunteer firefighter in addition to serving clients as a real estate associate. Michael and Valerie are the proud parents of two children Lauren and Michael. “Those two kids are the best of me, and I could not be more proud of them,” Valerie said.
